Seis 6 [Six 6] is a collective of objects, a network of relationships, and the system that builds them. The piece is installed, with its objects and their visual and sound instruments, by appropriating structures found in the space, in this case, six metal plinths found in the storage room of the Cerveira Biennial Museum. This piece was created specifically for the context of the Espaço/Programa exhibition, starting from the premise that it would be developed in an open space that would be shared with the remaining works in the show. Therefore, the objects of Seis 6 are distributed in space, developing relationships with other works that are permeated by their physical and sound interstices. The dialogues with the other pieces and the visitors are articulated with a constant internal monologue, a rhythmic construction that emerges from the interactions between modules. The piece’s network — initially suggested by the cables connecting the modules — is a territory explored by sonic patterns (also articulated in groups of six) that turn the piece into an infrastructure for relationships between its objects, the space and its soundscape, the other pieces, and the visitors. This is a piece of gaps and intervals that build and reveal forces of attraction and repulsion. It is a piece that presents itself as a pattern of spaces between modules, of pauses between sounds, of contrasts between rhythms.
